my thoughts on breakups and healing.
me: when you've been with someone for so long sometimes you forget how to love correctly. sometimes you lose yourself, and you start to give to much. the love for yourself starts to be transferred to your other half, and sometimes all of the respect and love you have for yourself is lost. LOVE IS BLINDING AND BINDING. you cant see how much your neglecting yourself because your just so focused on making sure your other half is taken care of. even if your not happy you cant leave. subconsciously your heart knows its empty. because all your love and all your heart is with them. when you separate yourself from that person, its so much harder to get over them because since you've made them your everything your left with nothing.
when your single you slowly obtain pieces of yourself back. it takes a while but it happens.
